We booked onto the marine safari the afternoon before the tour, my partner was hoping for a scuba experience but unfortunately they werent running any on these particular days. Jake and Russell did a fantastic job taking us and 6 others to 3 different snorkel spots, I myself didn't snorkel but still found the trip completely worth it, the whole experience from the food to wildlife spotting was top tier, they were both very knowledgeable about the area and about the wildlife, we saw so many species including, rays, sharks, dolphins, sea snakes, osprey, eagle, etc. And there was even more to see under the surface! If you want a day well spent then get yourself booked onto one of the tours!

The marine safari lasted for the whole day. We snorkeled in three places and saw so many sharks, stingrays, giant clams, etc. The fish and coral life is more limited but it is still well worth the money spent to do this. We swam with a playful Sea Lion for the longest time. Also saw a pod of dolphins with a small baby. The guides were friendly and informative providing abundant information on the marine life. We cruised past a cliff which had a face like shape called the Screaming Dutchman. I would highly recommend this tour.

The boat was big, with plenty of room to get into the wetsuit. The staff were amazing, very helpful and informed about what was happening on the trip. Lunch was great! And we saw a whale shark in the bay, something that rarely happens!

We had a wonderful day with Shark Bay Dive and Marine Safaris. From the welcoming on-board coffee, to the snorkelling, cruising clear blue waters and walking on Dirk Hertog Island, everything was perfect. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and extremely enthusiastic. We had 2 great snorkels and the added bonus of 20 minutes plus in the company of a friendly Whale Shark. Thank you - would highly recommend, a truly memorable day.

This tour was a great day out on the water and is an excellent choice in the hotter months when alternative land-based options just seem far too hot to consider. Our group ventured to three excellent snorkeling sites as well as Steep Point and did a short hike along Dirk Hartog Island. Snorkeling, we spotted sting rays, a turtle, a sea snake, and a guitarfish in addition to beautiful coral, other colorful fish, clams, sea stars, and other marine life. From the boat we also spotted an eagle ray and even a couple of dugongs! From Dirk Hartog Island, we could see several Nervous sharks swimming in the bay below. Definitely a great day for marine life spotting! Our tour was with Russell and Jake, and while I don't believe either was a marine biologist (at least neither mentioned this in their intros), they both did an excellent job telling us about the marine life, history of the area, and other information. I mention this only because the website information notes that there is a marine biologist is on every trip, though I don't think this was the case for our trip. The food was excellent and we were well fed throughout the day. The water can be a bit choppy, so it's worth taking motion sickness meds if you are prone to sea sickness. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this trip if you're in the area!

The full day wildlife safari really lived up to the RAC Monkey Mia's front desk recommendation. We had Ed & Jake looking out for us and they know their stuff. The goal is to snap a selfie with the Screaming Dutchman at Steep Point, snorkel along Dirk Hartog Islands sheltered inside coastline, wade ashore for a short history lesson all the while keeping an eye out for the area's wildlife big 5. (Dolphin, Dugong, Shark, Manta Ray & Turtle). Well big ticks for everything today plus a rare sighting in these parts of an Australian Sealion. This trip is great value for money. A bucket list moment.

Great full day with a wide variety of activities - some great snorkelling (3x snorkels) over beautiful reefs with amazing animals (rays, fish), saw a pod of dolphins from the boat, went to Steep Point, went to Dirk Hartogg island and learned about the history and saw the (very cute) nervous whaler sharks. Emily (skipper) and Jake (guide) were very knowledgable and fun, and the whole trip was very flexible. Nice small group (6 people total).

It’s taken a year for time off work & a Marine Safari to coincide but it was well worth the wait!! Fantastic day out snorkelling. Chelsea, Jake, Emilie & Captain Russell were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble & they did their best to make sure no one missed out on the marine life. We saw a huge turtle, dolphins, stingrays, wedge fish & lots of other little fish. Food was delicious. Highly recommend if you fancy a day snorkelling in beautiful Shark Bay which takes you to Steep Point & Dirk Hartog

Hi!
I am going to Dehamn 28th Sep,and I really want to see dugong.I already have AOW so I can dive.
Can you recommend a tour for me?Thanks!

September is a great month for visiting Shark Bay. If you come on one of our marine safaris you can see the sensational six of dugongs, dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles and humpback whales.
September is also grey nurse shark season so there is a high possibility to see them scuba diving out at Steep Point, which you can also do on the marine safari.
Please note as dugongs are protected and endangered marine mammals it is not allowed to snorkel or dive with them in Western Australia, but we can observe them from the boat.
