Check opening times before going. A very interesting tour of the house and gardens, all lovingly looked after by volunteers and well worth the look into our past history. The gardens would be best in late Spring.

Buda has its early 20th century art deco pieces still in place. Made by the talented women in the family the decorative metalwork, embroidery, painting and furniture is a treat. A smallish home packed with beautiful artwork leaves you saturated in the art deco period....More

Magnificent large home built early 1860s, with 3 acres of lovely gardens. A great insight into the history of a wealthy gold rush era family who were very artistic.

Step back in time. See how successful some immigrants made their life during the gold rush in Castlemaine. Beautiful jewellery made by the owner on display as well as the original furnishings.
