The temporarily closure of all restaurants and the 18:00 to 6:00 curfew have made everyone weary and stressed. There is nothing to do in the city, no more going out for dinner, no more going for a drink in the bars, so we all spend our time elsewhere, such as exploring the nature. The park is a good place for a day-out, with two deserted abbeys, a windmill house, numerous small waterfalls and bridges, not to mention the regional plant species. It's a shame picnic is not allowed though.
The first trek was a easy walk. We did it in an hour, although the map says it only takes twenty minutes, since we stopped from time to time to take some snapshots. On the way, we ate our sandwiches and drinks while walking, unlike some families, who disrespected the rule to picnic on some open meadow, leaving lots of waste behind.
The second trek was a arduous one, with steep paths going up the mountain. The paths were strewn with pebbles and branches, walking was laborious and dangerous, with the cliff on the right hand side. The path had many turns and suddenly the cliff was on our left hand side. The map said the 3 km trail will take one hour to complete, but we thought it would take more than that, as the turns were getting frequent and the path was getting uneven. We saw the mountain but didn't reach the top. We turned back to go down before it got dark. It was a hard trek but quite enjoyable, without a single soul around us, and we could remove the masks on our face for at least half an hour.
Back to the beginning of the trek, a Sunday well-spent far away from the city, together with many families with smiles on their faces even in this overwhelmingly difficult pandemic time.

Easy walking from the car park to see some of the local attractions of the beautiful countryside. You can not picnic in this park, just take a camera.

This is a lovely walk and is great if your want to get away from the crowds on the coast. Its worth the effort to walk up to the waterfall. Very nice!

We parked in the free parking of the parc saints ponts. We began our ride with our 2 twin girls in the strollers ( 2.5yr old) because we weren't sure what to expect:if it is hard on them, long, if they will get tired... The stroller was not a bad idea for a big part of the excursion while the girls enjoyed to walk on the way back and it was easy. We stopped at the Cascade because there were stairs and we cudnt take strollers. Only birds leafs and water were the cause of any sound. We loved it. There is a private field of horses on the left while walking towards the Cascade, the girls loved to watch through the separation... Easy path, good for running too. Picnic is only allowed in the first part. There is an area for making dogs play.

A lovely park, and a nice place to spend a sunny afternoon. The restored abbey is lovely. I'd make a point to see this lovely park if I were you!

We've been to this park many times in the last thirty years and it's still a treat. This Sunday they had a celebration of sorts so it was full. They were many exhibitions and the restored abbey was open to view. The restoration is fantastic and not to be missed although it's only open sporadically and it's difficult to find out when it is open. The town of Gemenos also publishes some trail maps and used this for a really nice hike on the Chemin de ble. Spectacular views of the valley and not too challenging if you start by the Chemin de ble.

I have been 15 times to this park and each time with different family members or friends. It really is for everyone. For the elderly who can't walk that well to the young in pushchairs. The walk can be challenging at times but most of the time it is on the straight and beautifully shaded by the impressive Plain trees. Go all the way to the source following the waterfalls and stream all the way up.
Lovely place in summer to escape the heat and wonderful in spring with the flowers everywhere. The parking is free and They just need to fix the toilets and it will be perfect.
Great place.

If you are staying in Gemenos (e.g. Magedeine) this is a nice play to go to/run especially during summer. If you exit the village center toward Ste Baume, you'll pass the moulin and theatre de verdure. Then starts the park. There is a boring part with the parking, then the trail start until you reach the place where you have to cross the road. Then if becomes nice. In the shadow along a stream. To a mill and then a nice and old monastery. Very peaceful and plenty places for picnic.
Jogging is takes 50 min to go there and back.
You can go with a push cart.
In the summer, the nice trail may be closed ... but the fence is 40 cm high ...

Right on the doorstep of Gemenos which can be reached by a free bus (7) from Aubagne from Monday to Saturday. Beautiful hiking trails both steep and flat. Picnic areas, lovely scenery!

Sorry to answer you for a long time, I see your question only today. This park is open along the year.
