Popular beach within very easy walking distance from the town. Excellent for kids as it has been cordoned off to make a man made swimming pool (renewed twice a day). Beach is clean. Lifeguard.

A great few hours on this convenient beach. A short walk from the harbour in Paimpol and with a walled seawater pool built into the beach you can swim even when the tide is out. Clean and full of families and young people having fun. No loos or cafe hence the 3 stars not 5.

Nice, sandy beach in walking distance from the center, i.e. harbour of Paimpol. There are also parking spaces and toilets. At low-tide you can use the 'pool', i.e. two walls with iron ladders close to the channel leading to the Harbour - during high-tide it is flooded and hidden. Bring your own food and Drinks as there are no shops or kiosks close-by.…

It's nice to be able to swim even when the tide is low, the view of the coast is nice and it's a nice sandy beach. It does get crowded in summer when summer holidays and tourists are here. THe water is always clean since it gets "change" twice a day each time the high tide comes in !…

A bit of a walk round from the port, but accessible by car from over the hill, the beach has a sea water swimming pool - filled by the tide. At high tide you see only the starting blocks, and as the tide goes out the walls appear, leaving you with a calm and sheltered swimming pool. …
