This was harder than expected and I'm in pretty great shape. I recommend that you review the details carefully before taking off on the 8-12 2 day hike. I highly recommend going with a guide who can also bring a mule with some gear

Its a long and winding road up to the peak, go early, wrap up warm and enjoy the ride. If you take the scree slopes down, good luck. The views from the top are great!

We had arranged our trip to Morocco to complete a walk up mount Toubkal. We went in June when the weather was good and our guide Abdul was excellent. We would recommend good walking boots and poles as route is steep a slippery in places.

Mid summer was quite a busy time to climb Toubkal but the views were very clear and it created a communal feel at the summit and on the route up. We ascended via the much less popular and more challenging route via the wreckage of...More

What an amazing experience- the toughest thing I’ve ever done but boy waalaykum salaam it worth it for the views. Opted for a 2 day Trek with Rachid and couldn’t have chosen a better company.

Hi Mourad We used Atlas Mountain Guides and they cost €150 pp. we did hire crampons and ice axes at an extra cost whilst we were there. I think we paid around €25 each for these. Faye

There is nowhere to stay above 3200m on the mountain so you go there and back in a day. Total 7-10 hours. But the trip in takes a day and so the trip out takes a day too. As for maps the guides know the routes. You can print... More
