Great place to go in the summer. They have summer concerts and yoga on the lawn. Great views of the bridge and of downtown nyc and the water. Quiet and peaceful.

Nice photos and story about Alice Austen, but it's your typical old house turned into a museum. Not much to look at, but a great view. The story about her is pretty amazing though.

Hi, it is about 2.5 miles from the ferry terminal to the Alice Austen House. You can take a public bus at the ferry terminal that will leave you about a block away from the house. Hope this helps.
