What a wonderful place to make a memory and a piece of your own creativity! A friend and I had a lovely time painting, me a yarn bowl and my friend some Christmas ornaments. A great break away from the business of the day!

Something for everyone and very affordable for every age. Moms with their kids, a couple celebrating their 1st anniversary and many more filled the shop over the time we were there and we still felt very comfortable and welcomed.

Ann, the proprietor, answered all my questions and offered some great suggestions too. Thank you so much and I look forward to picking up my piece after firing.

Check it out with family and friends on a cold winter's day. It isn't just for Christmas!

Me, my wife and her mother had such a good time. We were there about 2 hours and the time flew by. Highly recommended for a fun time.

Such a beautiful and welcoming place! Walked in with two children under 5 and were amazed how sweet and knowledgeable Ana is! Fantastic place for crafty people!
Can't wait to receive our pottery in a week!

My eight year old son and I came to visit Saratoga for two nights in February 2018. We stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton off of Lake Avenue. It is just a few blocks from creative Sparks. It is maybe a five minute walk. Very easy. I had done some research on things to do with my son while we came up to Saratoga just for fun. This was on my list as well as a military museum in town. We did Creative Sparks on our first day. My son picked out a ceramic box to paint and I picked out a glass Suncatcher Mosaic type of thing to make. I had never made anything like the mosaic before so I was a first-timer. We were told by the girl about all of their pricing up front and I was pleased to find out that you did not have to pay paint by the half-hour like most paint pottery places I've experienced before. There is just one $8 fee to paint, regardless of how long you decide to paint.Nice! We were given a but of instruction and then left to do our own thing. (Although she checked in on us several times).we had a great window seat and the shop is bright and cheery.Note,if you are doing a ceramic painting piece and from out of town, you can pay 10$to have your item shipped, which we did. (For my son's piece). (Takes about 2 weeks she said).
Highly recommended,we had a great time!
(My mosaic is a character from the video game HALO that I made for My son.He likes Halo minifigures, never seen the video:)

We spotted this pottery place during a ride with our Uber driver to downtown Saratoga. For years, I've been looking for a ceramic white Christmas tree with blue lights, searching on ebay - very expensive and not sure what you will get. Anne Valente, the owner, sold me a small Christmas tree, the blue lights, a star, and told me since I wanted the luster white, I could paint it with acrylic paint and it didn't need to be fired in the kiln. She is shipping it to us at our home in DC. While we were there, there were several tables occupied with very happy children and young adults, and parents making their own creations. Wish we had a place like this in our town. So happy to have found such a lovely place and gracious owner. You must go if you are a tourist or live there.

Although neither my husband or I are artsy, we both enjoyed spending time here creating a souvenir together. The lady welcomed us right in and set us up creating a mosaic we was able to take home with us that day. She was very helpful and made us comfortable doing something we've never tried before. Great experience and would recommend visiting to create your own masterpiece.

Wanted to do something a little different in town. The manager is a delight to work with, very pleasant and helpful but not intrusive! Many plaster options to paint , or mosaic tiles and other options. The plaster takes 2 days in the kiln but there are things to do that you can complete and take home in one day. I would recommend to do if you are looking for something other than eating/ drinking, with or without kids . It is in town, around the corner from Ben and Jerrys ice cream on Phila st. It was a lot of fun and pleasant environment . Fun for all ages.

My wife and I took a weekend trip to the Saratoga Springs/Lake George area and upon researching the area my wife found this very interesting place. I wasn't huge on the idea of going bc I'm not into painting and artsy kind of things. We walked in and staff made us feel VERY welcome and explained all that they offer. We could choose from making mosaics, fused glass or pottery painting. We chose the painting. They Had tons of things you could paint such as tiles, plates, bowls, figurines, etc. We chose bowls. Staff was terrific explaining how to best paint the bowl for best results and showing all the tools you could use to design it better such as stencils, stamps and sponges. A Birthday party was going on when we were there and kids were having a blast. Great place to go on a different kind of adventure with my wife and had tons of fun. Also would be a great place to bring kids for a fun day out in the amazing Saratoga area. Wish we had something like this where I live.
