I called about ability to reserve a few lanes for a group of people. They said they don't reserve lanes. I asked if it was usually busy on the night we were planning on coming. 'No' was the answer. When we arrived there were no lanes because it was league night. They didn't know that when I called 2 days earlier? Thanks for wasting a bunch of peoples' time.

We have been doing a bit of bowling... and wanted to check out this place. We went on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy but we had no problem getting 2 lanes for the 6 of us (all adults). The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Games were $5 each and shoe rentals are $3.50. We didn't order any food or drinks from the End Zone Sports Pub, maybe next time, though we did find out that you are not allowed to take drinks out of the pub area. There are tables with chairs for seating at each alley.

I brought 10 kids, ages 7-14 to the vacation special on a Friday morning. The front desk staff is patient and friendly, always a smile. The snack bar worker was extremely busy, but he never missed a beat, smiling, friendly, efficient. The kids bowled, rode the bumper cars and went in the ball play center. Lots of fun!

The private room was the perfect location for a birthday party for my niece. The service from Amber and Kimmy, our party hosts from Strike Zone could not have been better! They accommodated every wish and made the night a blast for all. Highly recommend the Strike Zone for any event you might want to host where there are tons of things to do. The private room has private restroom, ample seating and private lanes for your group. Perfect!

I want to agree with a previous review. It's not just a bowling alley. I just started going to the Sports Bar on Sundays during football. I like the way the run raffles if you wear your team jerseys and drink the beer of the day. What I don't like is the fact I don't drink, so therefore I can't benefit. There are many people that have TONS of tickets in (because you are supposed to get 1 ticket for every beer of the day you drink- I did notice a few people getting more than 1) and me only having one. I feel they should do something for people who don't drink. I actually thought about not going back. It's a shame, the food and service is excellent. and i love the way the manager knows where each game is, however, it's unfair to non drinkers. if they were to do something for non drinkers, my rating would have been definitely a "5"

Yes, The Strike Zone is a bowling alley, but it is much more than that. The End Zone Sports Pub in the building is a favorite place for locals. Happy Hour is celebrated every day from noon to six o'clock, with half priced appetizers and drinks. Five of us gathered on a Friday night. Friday's there are local bands playing. This night The Shames were performing their 60s music for dancing. Appetizers ordered were a 3 combination platter, pizza, and bowls of chili. All were surprisingly good. The dance floor is a bit small and sometimes seating is at a premium, but for you can't beat this place for a good time.

This place is awful. You can't even read the words on the console to key in your name or make corrections. Words are so faded an employee is sent to key in information and start the game for you. The equipment on the lane isn't any better. The lane shut off mid game just as I released the ball. After waiting for it to be turned back on and game scoring corrected, it kept screwing up the number of pins that were knocked down. The score was 9 when only 4 were knocked down, marked as a gutter (no pins) when 7 pins were down, etc. I did not finish the game. I also did not pay the overpriced $5 for the game. The person that I complained to said I would not be charged but I assured him I would post this horrible experience online. Don't waste your money. Go to Glens Falls or Clifton Park or Latham or Gloversville or Amsterdam. I have bowled at all of those lanes and all of them are better than this alley. All are also mush less expensive.

My son bowls with a group every Saturday. He really enjoys the snack bar. They have a decent variety of food. They do have a bar and have events that go on. They do birthday parties. They also have night bowling. Its a nice place. Its kept up very well

This is a super bowling alley, and has fought off past plans for demolition and development to reinvent itself as a great, updated venue for bowling, arcade games, even bumper cars! The restaurant/bar offers good food and drink, and occasional live entertainment. There always seem to be great drink and appetizer "BOGO" specials, outside of the typical Happy Hour, so a super place to stop in, even when bowling isn't part of the plan!

The place has bowling and more. For the adults- the bar has a lot of TV's, wings and beers. For the kids--The bumper cars are fun for adults and kids and the ball pit is great for anyone 1-14. Sometimes we just come to get out of the house and use the bumper cars, ball pit and arcade. Great for an hour! And it is air conditioned so on those hot summer days when you need something to do with the kids.....
