There was obviously a Romantic movement in the 1800's that captured Europe and found its way into architecture and painting as well as literature. Some were artistic successes and have become classics,others were less so and this is a prime example.

The 'art' inside the castle has no merit whatsoever. The re-furbishment of the castle is monotone and without imagination or reference to the history of the castle.

I like this castle which is surrounded by water and in a very good shape. Worth to see especially during xmas time when there is the christmas market in the garden next to the castle.
