If you only walk the short trails near the VIC building, you’ll find nicely maintained trails. If, however, you look at the trail map provided and want to do one of the longer hikes indicated, you will be disappointed and, maybe, lost, maybe, even, hurt....More

Even walking in the drizzling rain, I found myself enthralled with so many wildflowers along the path. This nature center offers a variety of hiking paths to accommodate different strengths. I especially enjoyed Barnum's Brook--lovely.

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful places for cross county skiing and worth the drive. There are no crowds and the views are memorable. They also make outstanding maple syrup and you can adopt a tree. A great experience.

The trails were not well marked.. I heard after my experience that others have gotten lost there. There really needs to be more signage. Maps on trees or post...saying you are here, with trail names. Arrows showing...this way to the VIC center, etc.
