There are locks and a dam along the river. You walk across it on an old refurbished railroad bridge set aside for walkers. They have a walking path just above water level with a stairway up to the bridge. There are murals along the south...More

Oswego knows how do the water. Nice and relaxing. Paved sidewalks to stroll on to view, smell and hear the beautiful water. A lively place to wonder and forget about life.

Always fun to watch the people fish and seeing the boats. It's also nice because of all the shops along first street.

Visited the area recently and saw the changes. It gives you the feeling how I important this river is and has been to this area

You can walk on the paved paths on both sides of the Oswego River. There is a pubic restroom plus several restaurants above it. A favorite salmon fishing spot in autumn.
