We went here for a sunset tour of the Caldera! Beautiful and efficient port of call for all the sail boats. Perissa beach was a nice stop on the way from Kamari beach and also accessible by water taxi around the point from Kamari.

Beautiful Amoudi Bay. You need to walk to end of Oia village and there's 250 steps down to the Bay. There's a few taverna's (ate there) and a beach there (you have to zig zag by the rock to the beach so bring good shoes)....More

We had hired a quad bike, so we were able to drive quite far down towards the bay (electing not to battle the stairs). This made our access much more pleasant. We sat at a beautiful restaurant (literally with the sea at our feet), which...More

A lot of steps to walk down (and obviously back up again ) but once you get down there are a lot of nice restaurants and a place to cliff jump. If you follow the path round you get to rocks and you can swim...More

At the end of Oia and down a steep road lined with cars, its an adventure to get there and park. However, its a unique spot with beautiful views and the restuarant there lets you pick your whole fish that they cook for you. With...More

Be prepared for the long walk down which is worth it. There are lots of donkey poo and the nasty smell but when we got to sunset tavern for dinner it was worth it.

A great place to have a tasty meal. I tried three out of four Amoudi Bay`s restaurants. Delicious food was accompanied by unforgettable sea views and cooling breeze. Spending some time in Amoudi Bay is just a must.

We went for lunch to Sunset Restaurant but all the restaurants looked amazing. I believe you can go for the sunset as well. Delicious fresh fish and seafood. The setting is so beautiful and unique, worth a trip.

Yes, I would. Ask your hotel to reserve a nice table they are more than happy too. They can also reserve a taxi to there and before you leave ask the restaurant manager to call you a taxi back. It’s quite dark after sunset.

We found the whole of Oia to feel extremely safe - including the steps. We were staying above Amoudi Bay and the steps were always well used by lots of people. We walked up and down - there are a lot of steps though - but as... More

Our taxi came 5-10 minutes after they made the call. The ride back up to Oia was really short, at most 5-10 minutes. There isn’t a lot of parking spaces at the bay... so driving may not be such a good idea. Perhaps you could... More
