The Canal du Midi is a major element of the heritage of Languedoc Roussillon. Its bucolic frame and the freshness which reigns there, make an original and restful communication route. During your stay, discover a unique nature; wine landscapes, scrubland... Discover authentic villages between the Canal du Midi and the great vineyards of Saint Chinian and Minervois. You can visit our local products shop, wines & library in Capestang tourist office. We offer free WIFI et Internet access on a computer. You can also find us in Saint Chinian (open on sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm from April to October - closed on saturdays except July and August))

We have been to this office on a number of occasions and always find the staff very helpful (in English and in French), and there is always a large range of information available. A very friendly and ambient office.

An especially busy and bustling area on the canal. Very well worth a visit whether you want information on boat hire, walking, accommodation or the local area. Very helpful

Tourist office was excellent but the capitaine who organised the hire boats was terrible he neither cared for the paasegers and was late so that the clients were paying for time when they were not in the water.More
