For a start we had a problem finding this. Poor signage and a generally poor area. We stopped about 2 km from the bay and were given directions and told to look for Patrick. Eventually we arrived at some shanty buildings where we asked for...More

Not the most picturesque place on the island, disturbed at the amount of plastic and litter washed up by the sea, however walking amongst the Lemon sharks is truly unforgettable! Only cost in 2€ for shoe hire which is a must as the rocks are...More

Stopped here as part of a tour and spent a short while here. It’s just a few metres out from shore before we could see the young lemon sharks and saw a few during our visit. We would recommend coming here as part of a...More

My first time feeding sharks and I must say was brilliant, them swimming around your feet whilst the guide puts fish guts into the sea to get them to come near, brill experience.

We hired a car specifically to go to shark bay. When we arrived there was a group of people all ready out in the bay. We turned down the offers of help from the local people and went out on our own. The baby sharks...More

Our guide wouldn’t recommend it... I asked, he said it’s a wild predator at the end of the day so not advisable to get too close but rather let them swim up to you and investigate you.

We hopped over to Boa Vista Island from Cape Verde Sal. It's a very short flight away of about 15 mins. I think it cost us around £100 for the flight and tour of the island.
