Fabulous beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops. The new burger bar in the Main Street is a must. The beach itself seems like and endless stretch of soft sand and there are plenty of sun beds for hire with lots of water sport places along the...More

Beautiful white sand and clear blue sea. The beach is near the pier which you can walk along and see the fresh fish they have caught. Several restaurants and bars near to the beach. Taxis serving this area are quite reasonable.

Friendly locals, lots of culture, Caribbean vibe. Great for a morning or afternoon mooching around and lazy lunch on the beach.

Santa Maria does what it says on the tin - sun 360 days of the year, lovely sandy beaches, nice people....and that is about it. Flying in you see a barren wasteland, not much more than a desert. Driving from the airport is not much...More

This beach was so beautiful! Especially in the sunesets the views here were amazing! Although a bit too windy everyday we were there it was still really nice. And there aren't many people on this beach so it doesn't feel crowded at all!
