The Three Sister islands are next to Goat Island, on the Canadian side of the island. They are pleasant side trip, with bridges over three forks of the rapids, and a final view of the main river rushing towards the falls. If you like to see roiling water, this is a good place for it.

Pretty views but nothing really to do just different views of the river. It's a quick walk over a couple small bridges.

We hit this site last after visiting the main attractions in Niagara Falls Park. We drove around and were able to find a parking spot in the free parking lot (3). From there it was just a short walk over a couple of bridges to see the mighty rapids. It’s a quiet area with many amazing views.

It was very interesting to see the islands, land and water above and before the falls. The story of the 3 sisters that the islands are named after was very interesting.

Beautiful views of the Niagara Falls rapids.Worth getting off the trolley to see the rapids before the Falls from the Three Sisters Islands. Connected by bridges.

This is a nice quiet spot to retreat to among the business of Niagara Falls! We took the trolley out there mostly because it was a scorching hot day, but it would have made for a really nice walk as well.

This was a nice walk to this vantage point to view some of the rapids. I don't think we could see the actual falls from there. Nice, peaceful quiet area.

If you go to Goat Island, go to the 3 Sisters Islands. It only takes about 10-15 minuets round trip walking if you don't stop to long. You get to see small waterfalls, a creek and then the big Niagara river. Parking on Goat Island is $10, everything else is free except for Cave of the Winds.
