We wanted to visit my favorite brewery. Great atmosphere. But oddly being the original location, they didnt have everythimg on tap as we hoped. The drinks were also more pricey than then the ones we could get in Ohio
Went for dinner with several friends. The food was almost mediocre. They specialize in smokehouse meats. The meats uniformly were very dry and flavorless. The potato chips were soggy.
Those who drink beer really enjoyed it.

The massive size of this place is pretty impressive! I mean, I know Southern Tier is a very successful brand, with great beers, but they have really built a beer palace out there in the country-side.

We were staying on the lake and this place was highly recommended - it didn’t disappoint. We were there the week of 4th of July so I’m glad we went on the earlier side of the afternoon in the 5th. Really good beer, great selection,...More
I live an hour away and try to get here several times per year.
The food is fantastic - recommend the Beautiful Mess and Shrimp Tacos.
Probably the best crafts beer out there.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.

If you like drives there is a great loop to make go to Jamestown, head east to Allegheny Reservoir, very nice drive down the west shoreline to Warren, PA. Take route 6 west from Warren, several small towns along the way. Corry has a neat little downtown area with antique and boutique type shops on Center Street. Waterford has the historic Eagle Hotel, (now a good restaurant) plus the Ft LeBoeuf museum. On to Erie with a lot of things to do and see there for the entire family. Hotels are available along the entire route.
