My favourite trip as a guide due to my love for nature. The tranquillity of the boat trip, the fortune tell and palm tapper. The fascinating part for me is the arrival of the entertainers by boat at night with fire as a source of...More

We went to the Makasutu forest from the Mandina Lodges which are within the forest area so we had no taxi fees, entry costs or guiding issues. The forest area is vast and includes a number of villages. You can walk freely and see all...More

This is a lovely place to visit, with a ride on a boat through the mangroves with the guide pointing out the many birds. Then a stroll through the forest telling you about the trees and medicine the can be used for the guide is...More

We were down there to do Tanji on the coast but my travel partner decided to pop in. High entrance fee for a local trip, forest walk interesting, the river trip was about 30 minutes. And really the local "cultural" entertainment was not there nor...More

Hi We did it also with the regular green and yellow taxi's and payed an entrance fee at the gate. No need to book in advance, certainly outside the season. Be aware that no food is available outside the touristic season!
