Park nearby on Fall Creek Road and walk to the entrance of the bridge. Walk across and take in the breath-taking view of the gorge below and the Cornell electric powerhouse run by Fall Creek waters below. If you continue across the bridge and up...More

This was stop #2 of our falls tour. The bridge swayed slightly in the middle as we had about 40 people on it. Great views of the falls and the lake.

You need to pass by when you are visiting Ihaca. Very sturdy and very well built. You can enjoy a very nice view.

The obstructed view of the falls is nice but not spectacular. It's literally just a bridge to get from one side of the river to the other. It's a nice cut through for the Cornell students.

Nice view of the Fall Creek Gorge, but the real views are along the Fall Creek Gorge trail. There are a series of falls that ends at Ithaca Falls. It is worth looking for the trail and walking down the steep stairs.

I guess I had great expectations upon hearing of the suspension bridge. It was OK and views from the bridge were beautiful, but not dramatic.

This was our first trip to the Cornell University campus. We enjoyed walking around the campus and the views of the gorge from the suspension bridge. We were glad we stopped here.

The whole bridge is covered in a net, so you cannot fall or jump off. The view is beautiful. However, the bridge does move a bit in the wind and if you easily get motion sickness, you might feel a little queasy. I did and...More

Imagine being a studentor faculty/staff who gets to cross the suspension bridge enroute to Cornell each day! Its a bit out of the ordinary, which makes it fun. And the views of the gorge are wonderful. Fall color time is always the best!
