Right near the road, this is a simple walk to what we thought was the prettiest of the falls we saw in Ithaca. Taughannock was kind of dry.

We took a trip to Ithaca just to hike the gorges to view waterfalls. This did not disappoint! Take your hiking shoes.

There's not an exact address, but the falls are behind the Ithaca School District offices, 400 Lake St. You can't miss the falls, if you're driving on Lake Street behind the high school.

I'm afraid not, at least not if you'd like to get close to the falls. There's a road that crosses the river that flows from the falls and viewing the falls from that bridge would be possible. The path to the falls, however... More
