Just walk in free and enjoy the beautifully executed large mural paintings on the four walls. If you don't recognize the faces of the heroes and heroines pictured it's time you read up on how the colony freed itself from domination of the mother country.

You MUST go in and see the murals that depict the history!!! The artwork is stunning! They also have tours. (Viewing the murals is free and you are allowed to photograph them).

This palace is right at Plaza de Armas. We were there when there was traditional Flag Ceremony. It was impressive and perfectly organized. Being there we felt history of this wonderful city.
