Nice, small archaeology park not far from centro. A few scattered buildings and a nice pyramid make up the site. Lots of construction at entrance, right now you have to park on road adjacent to park and walk up dusty road about 200m. Looks like...More

Beautiful structure and surroundings. Fascinating history. I lucked out and had a personal guide (Leticia!) that was knowledgeable, spoke english very well and was very accommodating. You can take the #65 bus to the site; a nice ride through a variety of neighborhoods.

If you have some extra time then take taxi to El Cerito. After nice walk you come to small, well preserved pyramid. It is nice and peaceful place. Don't forget your sunblock and cap.

This impressive pyramid receives very little attention. While the signage leaves much to be desired the pyramid is definitely worth a visit. If you don't have a guide you should probably do some online research before arriving
