Be sure to drop by on a late afternoon to see locals dancing in the plaza! A wonderful experience. Lots of local cafes and restaurants in the area. I did not notice a single Starbucks!!

Lot's of history, architecture, culture, food and people. Lovely downtown for locals and tourist alike. one of the best in the country.

Hotel Hildago was in the historic center. Great staff including everyone who worked there from the front desk to the cleaning ladies.

I came through here in the 70s and thought it was one of the pretties of the historic silver cities. The modern Queretaro has spread out like everywhere, but the Centro Historico has the same feeling and is an unqualified pleasure to stroll around. Too...More
