The history of this park is very interesting. There are cabins to rent and great paths for hiking. We took the path along the lake, which is beautiful but has some very steep cliffs. That path is probably not for small children. It was not...More

Very peaceful place to walk or bike or use the dog park. Views of the lake are magnificent along the way. You can rent a cabin also.

This place is beautiful. The facilities include several cabins, tennis court, volleyball, and 10 miles of trails. It may not be small child friendly in places. The three miles of waterfront is mostly 30' sheer cliffs with very little access. That being said, this park...More

This is a very nice and well kept state park, I seems that it does not get a lot of use. I was there on a recent Saturday afternoon and there were only a handful of cars in the parking lot. The trails are great...More

We go often and usually walk the four mile cliff walk along the water to the picnic area, a bit farther and turn around. It is very scenic, some of the views are breathtaking. This happens to be our favorite walk but there are many...More

Recently we visited this state park. We had been there two years ago, and enjoyed it enough that time to make us want to go back. The park is very neat, clean and well maintained. There are hiking trails throughout the woods and along the...More
