My group of 6 women just came from a 4 day spiritual retreat and thought of checking the place out. We saw the chapel that was newly constructed. It was simple, yet serene. If one's objective in coming to this place is to be entertained, one will definitely be disappointed. I guess this place are for those who intend to pray, reflect, do a pilgrimage. According to our guide, the place has many visitors especially during the season of Lent. We were impressed with the works.. Life-size statues of the characters in the Bible were made of paper mache. There's nothing like it here in Metro Manila or nearby. Entrance is free. If you're visiting during the day, don't forget to bring sunblock, umbrella and hat.

Holy Land has a chapel, trail for Mysteries of Holy Rosary and Stations of the Cross. The trail has life size statues depicting each station. Its best for meditation and prayer especially during Holy week. For those w difficulty in walking they provide golf carts for a minimal fee. Comfort rooms are also provided in selected areas. Its a different experience visiting Holy Land Subic. I just hope that they get to maintain and further improve the place.

Had a pilgrimage with a huge group (about 350 people all in all) and while the video introducing us to the park which we watched at the bus was promising, was quite disappointed when I saw the place.
I'll start with the good things about this place: parking was vast, and the attendants were able to make parking orderly. Entrance fee was minimal and at the onset, we were greeted by staff at the main gate.
Now I'll talk about the cons: first off, the toilets were very minimal. Considering this theme park aims to host hundreds of pilgrims in a day, they would have have provisions for toilets. Instead, there was always a long line next to the events tent where the toilets were - 4 cubicles only for women. There was no flush in the toilet, and guests had to get water with pails from outside the toilet. There was no soap, tissue, dryer in the toilets as well. Next, there was a cafe next to the main gate - but they serve instant coffee, soda and limited food and beverages at very steep prices. it would be better if they added more food options and stalls for diversity. Third, the statues didnt seem well kept as there were already signs of wear and tear. It would have been a very beautiful park if they had more trees and maintained the facilities. Perhaps add vendos or water faucets as the visitors are mostly children and elderly and being very hot on summer months, this can prevent dehydration or heat stroke.
All in all, I'd say I'm glad to have seen this place at least once. But I will not recommend nor come back.

Holy Land Subic Day tour entrance fee for the regular adult rate is P370 pesos (inclusive of Subic Tourism environmental fee) , They also have accommodation, Retreat cottages for short and long staying pilgrims. This biblical theme park right in the midst of Subic’s lush rainforests, offers a unique and immersive experience for those seeking a deeper connection with their faith. This sacred space, meticulously crafted life sized statues, provides a tangible and engaging way to explore the stories and teachings of the Bible. The opportunity to walk and meditate in the Garden of Eden, witness the Last Supper in the Upper Room, or even ascend to Calvary Hill for the Way of the Cross is a powerful and moving experience.

I went to holy land in November of 2012. Tripadvisor didn't list holy land yet, and would not accept my request to add it. I see now that they have decided that this place sort-of exists.

Absolute waste of time and taxi money. Nothing was there; it is a rip off designed to generate donations of people who "want" a religious themepark; playing on the sympathy and religious support of the Philippines.

Read the 1 or 2 other reviews. Do any of them say anything good? No.

You have been warned. :)

I went here and saw that the so-called attraction is really just a bunch of statues!!!
Moreso, it sits on ancestral land of the Aeta tribes. But the project proponent was allegedly begged by the Aetas to give them livelihood so she thought of developing their land into a "theme park" with proceeds of course, going to her!
For now there are no fees. Good thing as you really shouldn't pay anything to see statues.

If you are coming from Manila , entrance is on your right after the Subic security gates . You have to go to the Total gas station and you will follow a dirt road to the entrance of the compound. There is a guard house and we said that we only wanted to visit the chapel. We were directed to park in front of the chapel . Once inside the chapel there is a lady who will assist you in case you want to go inside and do the walking tour of the whole compound. Fee is 200 per head. We opted not to do that and instead just pray in the beautiful chapel.

My family randomly visited Holy Land because it is Good Friday. We were impressed at their church and their humongous statues that reflects Christ sufferings. However the place is still developing. I recommend this place during Lenten season especially if you want a quiet time alone because of its serenity and the scenic view above the hill.

I have been to the real holy land where you have to use your imagination of what people and things would have looked like. This is an extensive site that has many buildings and life size statues dotted around it depicting scenes of great importance to christianity. The life size statues are beautifully crafted and bring scenes to life. You can follow the stations of the cross up a hill to the top where there are sweeping views of the countryside. A vehicle is available to take people around who cannot or do not wish to walk. We found it a moving experience. It is very near to Subic Bay waterfront.

We came here not on a holy week. We're just curious what can we see here. It has a nice well kept church with a very nice garden and some dioramas of different scenery around the vicinity as you progress to move from one place to another. There is a billboard plan of the whole area for your guide.

A very nice place for recollection and prayers.
