We loved this place and the unusual films they brought to our community, but the support from the public at large was dismal. It is gone.

There was no heat last night. I'm never going again. The movie was good. Someone told the cashier there was no heat and he just said it will be warmer soon

LOVE seeing movies at the Art Mission Theater. Only place in the area where you can see independent, foreign, offbeat and always interesting films. It is also an art gallery with rentable space for exhibits. Always a pleasure.

I used to go to the old Art Theater before it went up in flames. I actually went there for New Years Eve 1990 to see a show with EJ Okemoto (sp?). Enough waxing poetically. This theater is a great place to see indie movies...More

VERY affordable and worth supporting. Such a nice change from the large theater chains and the only place to see thought-provoking movies with guts, depth. It's nice to buy concessions and not feel ripped off.
