Great gathering place-multiple beers, great service. Ambiance was the key. On the square in town center. A must stop for any visitor to Socorro.

The "Cap" as it is commonly referred to by the Tech crowd, is a favorite of the 21-30+ year-olds. You'll meet a lot of college-age students there, as well as some of the 'townie' regulars. Usually a calm, relaxed meeting place--always welcoming.

Loved seeing all of the old memorabilia inside and photographs of when the bar first opened. Has a traditional Wild West feeling. Would come back again when in the area.

Classic cool bar. Great selection of beer and every hard liquor you could want. Great old building with lots of history. Comfortable place to sit and kick back. Pool tables in the back. Cool place!
