Go to the Blackwater Draw National Historic Landmark first. I cannot emphasize this enough. One admission price gets you into both. The students close for lunch from noon to 1pm. We went to the landmark first, did lunch and then came on to the museum....More

If you are going to visit Blackwater Draw Historical Landmark, I highly recommend you visit this small one-room museum on the ENMU campus first. It will make your BDHL visit more meaningful. In addition to info about the cultures, tools and animals that were found...More

We decided to visit the museum before tbe site to get a history lesson first. It was disappointing. Not really set up well. There seems to be no flow to the exhibits. Learned more from the poster displays than the actual artifacts. Some artifacts had...More

If you ever wanted to know more about one of the country's most important archaeological sites, this is the place to go. The museum's new location is terrific and very convenient.

Although a small college museum, well laid out and quite interesting. This is a good and inexpensive start before going to the dig site.

Small museum on campus of ENMU. Nicely done. Air conditioning was most welcome on a hot day! Exhibits easy to understand, as well as some nice old photos of the area. I found it good to go to the actual outdoor site first, before the...More

We spent half a day going over this site and driving through the trails. We have been out here for several years and have seen the sign, but finally went exploring. Well worth the trip if you like archaeological sites and history.
