Stopped while in las Cruces, only a few miles from KOA. I’m out of season, but everything is well maintained. Visitor center, restrooms, parking good. Small garden, and trails to rio grande

If you want a place to see the Rio Grande and birds, this is a great park. It's close to Old Mesilla and gives you a real feel for how important the river was (is) to the desert!

Sorry for the late answer, but I was out of state. Yes dogs are allowed on the trails.
