We're experiences 4WD folks...so it wasn't a hassle - but, it...More

Highway 126 runs from Cuba to La Cueva, in the Jemez Mountains. It's a good drive but a little bumpy on the dirt parts. In the fall, it's a nice drive from Jemez Springs or Los Alamos over to Cuba to eat at El Bruno's....More

If it hasn't been raining, it's a pleasant, but sometimes bumpy, drive through a great deal of forest land. There is some ongoing construction work, as a good part of the highway (around 12 miles) is still unpaved. We drove in an SUV without any...More

Ok...so everyone always wonders about this road. It can and is closed if the winter is bad. We just traveled today and hit muddy spots, because of warm winter temps, but our 4 wheel got us thru no problem. It is a beautiful very secluded...More
