While visiting Santa Fe, I called up and old golfing buddy who now lives in Santa Fe. He made reservations for us at Cochiti Golf Club, about 35 miles south of Santa Fe. The course was very hilly and generally challenging. The scenery was exceptional....More

I have played Cochiti for years and it has always been in good shape with nice staff. But the last two times the staff has been awful. They got new carts - we asked why they did not have coolers on the carts - we...More

Play it every time I'm in New Mexico. Always well maintained and challenging to play. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. Easy drive from Santa Fe and ABQ. Good Pricing.

About a 45-50 minute drive south of Santa Fe. Daily fee course. Recommend getting a tee time. Prices are very reasonable. Course layout is very interesting. Variety of tees so you can play at any length based on your skill. Course condition was good but...More

Wonderful 45 min trip from Santa Fe to the Lake Cochiti golf course on the Cochiti Publeo. The check in, cart, and starter staffs were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Loved being asked if this was our first visit...it was, and they each provided useful...More

It's a nice, well-watered-desert course in an unusual setting offering unique golfing experiences at affordable rates. I've played it often and had many good experiences. The golf course sits in sacred land, apparently; and lately I think locals have become more hostile toward inadvertent trespassing;...More

Havent played at Cochiti in about a year and overall it was in excellent shape. The vista is pretty and enjoyable for any golfer. Hiwever, it is a relatively tough course and may not be for the high handicap golfer. Bring some extra balls and...More

If you like stunning vistas and a challenging golf course then Cochiti Golf Club is the place to be. Staff was very friendly and helpful and paired my twosome with a twosome that new the course. Which helped as there were some blind shots. All...More

This is a Robert Trent Jones Jr design. Layout is excellent but unfortunately the maintenance is poor. The course played very average. The fairways are not maintained at all especially towards the edges. The greens were very inconsistent ranging from very slow to medium. The...More

Pretty straight forward golf course without any real tricks, although having a local with you definitely helps you for your first round. Fun track that has a local muni flavor (hackers playing in t shirts and drinking beer) but is in better shape likely due...More
