Regardless if you are a poker player or not, you should visit this place to catch a vibe of the city. The club is situated next to a gastropub where food and music keeps the place ambiance a must see. Staff at the poker room are very nice and accommodating.

The look from the outside was very classic pub look and there was a guard situated at the door, so i really did not know what to expect. The roumor was that it was a morning tournament, whitch i have never tried before, guess that if you visited Vegas, its a natural thing, but not for me. when entering, i was immediately meet with a huge smile from what looked like a floormanager and a very beautiful bartender or helper, she did about everything this morning. The place looked a bit worn down, old tables and posters and hitlists on the walls, a bit like an old western salon i think. Besides at that point there was nobody else inside, so if not for the friendliness of the employees, it could be a bit intimidating and dark in there. After a few minutes the local players started dropping in. All very joyfull and everybody knew each other, but that just lifted the atmospheare, and it was players of all natinalities, Koreans,Americans, sweeds, brits and now even this guy from Denmark( me) It was a 200 pesos rebuy(4$) and all hell broke loose from the very beginning of the tournament. All inn from all sides, a lot of laughing and chanting and somebody yelled, welcome to Monday bingo I did not win, and thats bad ;-) but from the very first second i was feeling welcome to this place as everybody was talking to everybody and with the size of entryfee, it was no ripoff, and one of the best places to visit in Angeles if you are in to poker. I almost cant wait to go again…

Not being a gambler I wandered here while my room was being cleaned and was somewhat impressed. The steaks are not high considered the peso to dollar ratio. Also like that they played Omaha instead of Texas holdum. Not for everyone.
