Contrary to anything you may read on blogs or other sites their charges are now 3500 pesos per person and even more importantly a minimum of three persons. I wasted time and money to get there and find this out, so the two of us came back again thanks to a couple of nuns who gave us a lift. Unless you have three people or 10500 spare pesos I would give this a miss. Sad.

We went there on motorbikes to see nature and beautiful views of hot springs. But when we arrived at the place where is the restaurant situated we were told that actually the only way to see the falls is to take a package tour with a car, lunch, spa etc. for 3500 It wasn't even possible to take just a car to get there what we wanted to do only a package. It's a shame for the office of tourism of the Philippines to impose these rules which make no sense just to try to earn more money. The beauty of nature was made by nature and not by humans who are trying just to get profit of it. Just four years ago it wasn't like this and you could get by motorbike to see Mount Pinatubo and waterfalls and others things around but now everything is by package and that's a shame. Seriously don't waste your time and go somewhere else.

I have been there last weekend. The place is overcharging for everything. Also they are occupying a Eta ancestral ground and not letting anybody visit without charging 3500 for a package with mediocre/bad services. They do not allow private 4X4 cars to access a nice part of the Lahar. The vehicles that will take you from the restaurant to the other stations are old and not well maintained, far from being comfortable, probably even dangerous. Basically is a waste of time and money, could have been much better if the management would have developed the place in a more natural way instead of building ugly concrete buildings that do not match the beautiful surrounding of the lahar. Many mosquito in the area, if you visit bring repellant.

The place is interesting, the springs are nice, the hot sand is an unique experience, but the price you find advertised is not what they actually charge you. I was disappointed to find that the price online and that advertised by the hotel was not honored by the establishment even after talking to the manager. Just disappointing and it ruined the mood for the whole day. It's not so much about the money but the principle of bait and switch...

We went to see the spring but when you get there it's only for a package tour of 3000+.
So if you want to see the spring you also have to take the spa, ATV tour etc.. a total tourist trap just for $$$$$$$'s greedy humans again. I bet you have to pay for other things within the package to... People don't want to be dictated on what they must do to see something.
If you are looking to go here be aware you can only do this on a package.

A warning to single travelers: they will ask for 10,500 pesos for a minimum of three people. I was never told this on Expedia or travel advisor and so I wasted money on a trike and Jeepney here. Cheats and waste of time! Cost me 300 here, and to go back, the trike at the hot spring tried to extort 700 and the “tourist police there” asked for a bribe. I refused and decided to walk back. have never been so humiliated on a vacation that I decided to put this review

We were looking for something worthwhile to do while staying at nearby Clark Freeport Zone, and of course, while researching Trip Advisor, we discovered this attraction. We had previously not heard about this place and even with the mixed reviews and cost, we decided to go for it. A short drive from one of the side gates of Clark, be aware there is no parking near the entrance, you park on the side of a hill and walk down. There was some construction on the road leading to the entrance so we were further up the hill, about a 10 minute walk. The attraction has 3 stations, Station 1 is where you check in, receive your attire, change, and have your buffet meal. 3,500 pesos per person, minimum 3 for each group, full pay cost regardless of whether you hit each station or not, or partake of the buffet. When we were there, 90 percent of the customers were Korean tourists, probably staying at Clark and taking advantage of a tourist package with built in discounts. This place is Korean owned which would explain their marketing strategy to Korean tourists and why we couldn't find a whole lot of information online without using Trip Advisor. After checking in and changing into their special attire (shorts and T-shirt), you board a 4X4 Jeep and drive through some rough terrain, crossing river beds, splashing through water, and bouncing over some bumpy roads. The driver does his best to maneuver through the area, not recommended for elderly travelers with bad backs. You proceed to Station 3 for dipping in one of many hot spring pools on the slope and top of a hill. Pool water was a little dark colored, probably from the algae at the bottom, but water was hot with a couple of pools advertised to have warm water. Beautiful scenery in the front and backdrop made for relaxing dips. Snacks and restrooms are located at this station. After finishing with the hot springs, you proceed to Station 2 for your warm sand and mud pack. Here they cover your body with warm sand heated by a furnace below the sand pit and proceed to walk on the side of your body. At first uncomfortable, but eventually relaxing, has something to do with blood circulation although I thought my blood pressure probably elevated some. This is followed by a mud pack on face, arms and legs as you are still wearing your shorts and T shirt. Then mud pack and all, you jump back on the jeep and proceed to Station 1 for shower and changing and trying to get most of the dry mud off you. If you haven't eaten before the trip, you indulge in a buffet of pork barbecue on a stick, deep fried fish, fried chicken, pancit, salad, and cooked veggies. Food was OK, the chicken and BBQ was cold and dry, but you might get lucky if they happen to restock their servings with fresh food while you are eating. All in all, a good experience and worth the cost for folks looking for something different to do with no overly high expectations.

We visited Puning as a family group & had lots of fun. We paid www.amegatravelandtours.com approx 3300pesos pp for "the lot"..house pick up & return, hot springs, spa & meal each. We left at 10am & were home by 4pm...30mins from Angeles by bus to the lovely restaurant & scenic eating area, which also has a native village with locals in traditional dress attached as an added attraction...then about 30mins in mostly open 4x4 wheel drive truck vehicles.... through winding lahar hills & valleys (great photo opportunity) & over running streams to our hilltop hot spring pools. There is a shrine with steep steps for those who wish an amazing view or some quiet time...do it before you get wet. Swimming clothes & towels are supplied. Then back in the 4x4s, change into spa clothes & towels (supplied) & into the hot sand pits & green clay face masks. Massage therapist walks on the sand & your supported limbs to make it even more relaxing. Spa lasts 20-30minutes. Just relax....it's hot, but it's good...we all felt great & slept well that evening. Brush down & cold showers afterward & then back in the 4x4s to the restaurant for a buffet meal. Band member from the Black Eyed Peas house foto opportunity, & great local food & shopping opportunities on the way home. You will need water,a hat, or scarf for the open vehicles & a camera.....good fun day in close proximity to Angeles...we would all go again...

I brought 2 friends to the resort and we were surprised that they only accept minimum of 3 persons... so if there's 2 of you, you need to pay for 3 to get to have the package. What a rip off!
An alternative is to just rent a 4X4 and experience the off road/ lahar field and enjoy the view! Note that sometimes 4x4 are not available like the last time we went there... all is booked for more than 200 Korean tourist that day!

How much for a solo traveler is admission to hot springs?
Written November 25, 2019
Theres no solo traveler for them hehe. Charge is for 3 people. So even though there was only 2 of us, i still had to pay the 3 people fee.

What if our group is 5 what could be the best options you may offer?
Written November 15, 2019
Sorry. I forgot the packages they offered. I just know they charge in groups cause you would have to ride a 4x4 jeep to get to the hot spring. What i do know is they charged us for 3 people (their minimum) even though theres only 2 of us and it ws 3500peso per person. They have an fb page with their number on it. I think its best u call or msg them to get info.

I'm a big guy. Do you have clothes that will fit me? 2XL or 3XL even?
Written October 25, 2019
do you have senior Filipino citizen discount? And what time the day tour starts?
Written June 19, 2019
Sorry. Don't understand what's a 'small thier'. As the route to the hot spring has undulating terrain and driving through a number of river beds, I'd highly recommend no DIY transport. Do rely on the locals who will provide you with the necessary to get to and from the location safely and in one piece.

Hi! I don’t have an idea how much is an overnight stay at Puning Hot Spring but I suggest you stay in any hotel in Clark. For your land transfers, you may rent a van since you’ll be traveling with children.
