One of the best band pubs in Angeles. Beer is good and no-one hassles you. Not a girl bar but damn those guys can play good music. Open til 2am of thereavbouts.

I was in AC for 8 nights and I visited Midnight Rodeo on 4 occasions - usually 11pm to late - I danced 80% of the time as the music being played was ideal with a good mix - some rock some slow. The waitresses will join in and dance but no pressure for drinks but found them great company whilst there. Every night I took a lady friend with me who also loved dancing. Everyone extremely friendly and I would recommend for a quiet drink and some dancing fun with either a friend or local staff.
Ladies drinks reaosnable and suggest you tip the band if you enjoy the music which I'm sure you will

I really agree with all of the other reviews. I am glad I found this bar on my last visit to A.C. it would be called a "dive bar" back home in the U.S.A. but it is really a fun place to go and a great change of pace from all of the girlie bars on Fields Ave. the band is good and they take requests. the staff is very friendly with good service and the drinks are reasonable too. it is mostly for American ex-pats with their P.I. wives and honey-KO's but everyone is welcome. as GEN. Mac said "I shall return"!

Well this place is like the music bar in Star wars with clientele and staff to fit. The bands average age must be 55 if not more. But to be fair they are very good and play some good music. Seems like one of those old bars were the regulars have their own seats and tables and will claim those until they pass away. We were not made very welcome at all which spoilt the night from the beginning. Staff are friendly enough i a have to be kinda way. Obviously no one likes change in this bar as its a trip back in time "back to the past" and its staying there. I dont think i would spend another 90 php for a beer in this joint. But the band is worth another visit i suppose. Its living on its lorals but unfortunatly they departed along time ago. Please try it and u will see what i mean.

a small bar off the main drag with good live music 7 nights a week.
NOT a place with bar fines.
bar prices are good and ladies drinks are not crazy like the places on the main strip.
they dont have a kitchen but they do have food/snacks delivery menu.
two bands share the venue, one doing 3 nights and the other doing 4 nights. both bands are happy to take requests. ( a tip box is on the edge of the stage so you can show your appreciation for them doing so )
friendly staff/waitresses make this a nice place for a few drinks and some good music, which ranges from country to '70's - '80's rock

Midnight Rodeo has good music, fun waitresses, and I have enjoyed going there for more than 10 years. The place has a major smoke problem if you are not a smoker. Midnight Rodeo moved from its great location about 5 years ago. Now small with low ceilings and after 5 years still has not improved their ventilation system. This is a major point for me because I do not smoke and do not want to breathe the smoke of smokers to the point I am sick the following day. If you smoke and accept you will die of cancer it is a great place for you but if you do not smoke and do not want cancer from 2nd hand smoke then find another Country Music place like Western Fields Music Lounge.

the bands are good and play all the standards for you. you can dance with the girls although they are not girls you can buy just a drink and enjoy their company, there's one girl there i am in love with, but that's another story nice place

Went here while on a business trip. This is not a girl bar for those that know about girl bars. It is a nightclub type pub and on the first night I visited the band was great. 70's and 80's music (mostly) and really competent musos. Lots of guys going joining in a for song or 6 - the only person who did not have a break was the drummer - legend. Band played non-stop for at least 3 hours.
Don't expect flash surroundings as it is a big room with the band jammed into a corner and occasionally spilling out on to the dance floor (depending on who came in and picked up a guitar or grabbed a mike). Really casual atmosphere with great music. There is a food place next door and across the road so it seems snacks are available. Crowd is mostly 45's plus but that is Angeles and Walking Street to a tee. On that point the place is about 2 minutes walk from Walking Street. I did go there the following night and maybe the band had had a big one the first night because they lacked the cohesion of night 1. Beers are cheap, facilities (toilets) are a f'in disgrace and need a large sledge hammer. Don't even consider it if you are in a wheel chair and want a toilet visit. A lot of activity with people coming and going and many seem to know each other so maybe an expat crowd. The female singer has a great voice and enjoyed her songs. Most of the guys can belt out a good tune in tune. Music not so loud to burst your eardrums.
Enjoyed the night and no-one continually asking you to buy them and friends a drink (as distinct from the girls bars). That is not a criticism of the girl bars - people have a right to earn a living and I have had plenty of drinks there as well.
Place opens at 8pm and band starts around 8.30pm and finishes at 2am or thereabouts. Entry is free. You can sing with the band if you give them a donation. Would definitely go there again.

Love this bar with its live band every night of the week playing non stop soft to rock 70s and 80s music. Small dance floor, this place is an institution in old angeles city. A must visit bar just off raymond st past orchid inn offering something different from most other bars. Best to go late when the place livens up you wont be disappointed. Great band and entertainment.

Visited here for the first time after about 2 years. Still as stunning as I remember. Went on Friday night about 9.30pm but couldn’t get a seat. Came earlier on Saturday and was delighted by the performance. Fantastic music, no bar girls to trouble and no smoking so a perfectly enjoyable atmosphere. Great renditions of Johnny Cash and many others. Drinks are quite reasonable and no admission.
The standard is far higher than would expect in a provincial town - Long may they carry on singing.

Look at the short no name street between Raymond and Contrain Street, I reported the wrong location weeks ago and it was moved on the map to yet another wrong location.
