This market distincts itself from other fruit markets in Asia by the calmness. No huzzle and buzzle, no annoying sellers. We bought fresh fruit for a fair price. People are friendly and give fruit to taste. Nice activity to plan om your trip in Berastagi!

Definitely visit for a fun experience and a glimpse of local life. As a couple of complete strangers were made to feel very welcome. And even though we spoke no Indonesian, the humour and the craic was infectious. Genuine people. Great!

This market is one of the attraction in Berastagi. You guys can see many kinds of fruit here. For example orange, mangoes, melon, apples, etc. We also find vegetables, potatoes, pumpkin, tomatoes, and many more. Last but not least, you have to come to this...More

Lovely smells of fresh fruit; some persistent vendors but they are not aggressive. Initial prices are outrageous e.g. 10,000.00 ID for one lemon. Know what you need and know how much you are prepared to pay. Great way to learn the names of exotic fruit...More

very expensive and the seller esp a madam with kiosk located in the front side, at the edge of the road is far far away from hospitality. better not to bargain, or it will trigger them to be angry. really not good for tourism hospitality....More

It is good place to buy and try local fruits but it is nothing amazing. We liked better the one in Parapat for example. They tried to give us higher prices for fruits than to locals.

Should you decide to buy any fruit watch the vendor, nice fresh selection on front of display however our purchase was selected from the rear and was past its best, some inedible. Lesson learnt the hard way.

Visited the market. Tried the nice bakso. A good place for pony rides. The berries fruits are sweet and cheap. Not much souvenirs here

I took a 3 hours tourist bus ride to berastagi town. Unluckily, it is raining season now. Even though all the stalls are open, but there are not much to see.

A lot of fruit, flower and food here. Have tried strawberry, raspberry, and food during our visit. Here you also can find local food just beware with your stomach. Price can negotiations until what you want.

You can assume that is true as the market cater more towards locals.
