Horses hadn’t been ridden for 2 weeks. One only 5years old so immature meant they were all flighty. My wife and daughters did not feel comfortable at all and had to shorten their ride. Note they are all very experienced riders with their own horses...More

Truly an adventure, we did the 4 hour wine tasting ride.
4 hour on horseback when you haven’t ridden for a long time seems a bit daunting but the ride was great, we stopped a 2 lovely local winery and happily sipped wine🍷

Their Arabian horses are beautiful and well trained.
I was guided by Jonathan that is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
The scenery was beautiful, my horse was very well behaved.
We arrived at Paradise and experienced a hearty and hospitable welcome from Pieter, the 5th generation of his family in the Franschhoek Valley and who has long experience of endurance riding so he knows his horses!

If you like horses and wine this is for you. I am not a confident rider and felt comfortable all afternoon. If you can ride there are opportunities to stretch your ponies legs. You get to see the area in a completely different way.
