Irises are my favorite flower so I love to visit these gardens every few years during bloom season. Ever see tiny miniature iris? Giant bearded iris? Irises in almost every color known and previously unknown to horticulture? It is all here. Bring a camera, hat...More

Beautiful garden, the largest iris garden in the country. Beautiful grounds. Check out all the estates along the way with massive front lawns. Run by volunteers so make sure you put some money in the donation jar when you enter. Check the schedule for music...More

It is small garden and the parking is only road side parking. Since it is open field, so you will need hat if you plan to stay there long for photo taking. Many different kind of iris for iris lover. The entrance is free. However...More

During iris season -- late-Apr. through mid-Sept. -- it's the loveliest place in Montclair to take a peaceful and stimulating walk in parallel. There are 4,000 irises and iris gardens from around the world contribute to its collection, including Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

The gardens are well maintained and the irises are in full bloom in May. They request a small donation when the flowers are in bloom. In June they frequently offer to sell the iris rhizomes (bulbs) that they divide for the next season. There is...More

When the irises bloom, you must take a trip to the Presby Gardens. Hundreds of tall irises in every color and pattern, varieties seen rarely elsewhere. Bring your camera and a picnic lunch. Irises bloom every June, so save the date for 2018 now!

We went late June when many of the irises were past their best. Even so, it is absolutely delightful. The display of different varieties is amazing and my wife (who is the flower connoisseur) was very impressed and took loads of photos.

Recommended especially during the annual May in Montclair event. Learn how tulip purists select and plant tulip bulbs so that they bloom in Very attractive patterns. It might make you more interested in botany and plant genetics. Recommended.

Presby Memorial Iris Gardens is a remarkable garden, with over 10,000 irises, 1,500 varieties and over 100,000 blooms over the entire season. Like any other garden, it makes sense to inquire about the stage of the bloom. Visiting the garden in late May, we still...More

This place is on grass and not even ground. Probably not safe for people with walker or wheelchair. You can see those photos people post. However you can look at flowers from outside the garden.
