We have visited this park a few times during nice weather. Our 4 year old loves to see all of the animals. The park is large with lots of fun things to do with kids. The animals are well maintained, and the people are friendly.

No paved paths along the water, but there is a towpath on the opposite side of the river that goes on for miles, it's not paved but it's bicycle ready.
