This was more of a preserve than a commercial aquarium so you see more of the rescued animals versus aquarium picked animals. A little small but well worth the visit.

We visited the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge near Galloway, NJ. The refuge was originally named Brigantine National Wildlife Refuge but its name was changed to honor Edwin Forsythe, a conservationist and New Jersey Congressman. My main interest to this refuge was the drive through the lowlands across from Brigantine which I vacation in quite frequently. On our drive we saw many of the birds and ducks that inhabit this lovely secluded area. If you are a serious bird watcher,...More

This place is a must! It is so well set up. Excellent visitors centre with toilets. Pay your admission fee, which was $6 a car (ridiculously cheap) and off you go. 8 miles of well-constructed roads that run through salt and freshwater marshes and diverse...More
