I had the times of my life at EDs And wildwood
Jul 2020
Eds is awesome.Heres my story. after loosing my job due to corona and being stuck inside forever like most of us. I decided to go to wildwood after the 4th of july weekend. I expected to just walk the boards and just site see for 3 days. On the second day I walked into Eds arcade cause I was looking for directions. Then I met Ed what a nice guy he gave me directions we talked a bit I decided to play a couple games just for the hell of it.I wound up staying an extra 5 days and came back for another week the following month. I live in Atlantic City. when I tell you Ed gave me about 25 extra years and a brand new perspective on just how simple Something so good is. Im going to Wildwood again June 2nd for 8 days and a couple 4 day mid weeks just to enjoy the simple things wildwood and Eds have allowed me to achive. all my best the 420cowboyAC

It was bad and now its worse
Oct 2018
Ed’s was never a funcade . It was an im-bored-rainy-daycade. Good games , awful prizes , unfair prices , nothing special . Now , with the addition of ONLY card readers , you can’t go in with your spare change , you have to spend time and money getting a little plastic card you’ll never use again . Arcades are a pastime , not a place you’ll spend all day in . Pop in , pop out , continue on in your Wildwoods Boardwalk Journey. But you can’t do that with Ed’s. Not anymore.

Forced Cards
Aug 2018 • Family
I love Ed's but this year Ed's has been forcing the play cards on you.. They charge a higher price if you use quarters... I am just not a big fan of the cards

Fun
Jul 2018 • Family
Usual games, claw machines, skeeball, basketball, etc., some that earn you tickets for nominal prizes like most arcades. Ed's adds to the fun with periodic free drawings where you can win a chance to win more tickets and prizes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prize counter was handled very efficiently. Recommend a visit while at the boardwalk.

The claw machines are rigged
Jul 2018 • Family
We do like Ed's Funcade, however, the claw machines are rigged. There is no reason why the claw should open up, release the toy and then move towards the opening. We know its a game and sometimes you lose and sometimes you win, but there is no chance to win if the claw purposely opens up before it moves over to the opening. People really do spend a lot of money there anyway, so you don't have to rig the machines!!

Horrible.

I went here with my 8 year old son. The games i thought were not worth it but my kid was having fun so we stayed. I played a game with the claw. The claw grabbed a blue egg and in side it was supposed to be a ticket but mine didn't have one so i told them and they gave me one. OK so easy solution. I played on and the claw got stuck so the boy came over to it and unstuck it and handed me the egg. The boy that helped was the same one who helped before. By this time my son and his dad were finished and ready to cash out and get the junk that will soon be in the trash. The boy took the two tickets he gave me and some others my son had. He said he only got one of the tickets!!?? Not true! I watched my son give it to him. So he stole one or dropped one and wouldn't honor it even though i told him he had personally given me both of them. he made my 8 year old upset for nothing. This place is awful. Don't bother waisting time and money. Go on some rides instead.

FUN AND FRIENDLY
Jun 2018 • Family
Three locations across the Boardwalk to serve you. They offer cards you can load and when playing with them, you get discounts on all the games. Lots of games to choose from, lots of prizes too. The crane games are popular and they have LOADS of them, from guaranteed winners to the more difficult, expensive prize ones. Staff is very kid-friendly and will even sometime let you trade prizes. Great value for your $.

The best arcade in the boardwalk
Jun 2018 • Couples
They have 3 locations on the boardwalk and my wife and I always go here. We even keep the card they give you to pay for the games. You reload the card with money and swipe it at the machines to play. The tickets also get stored on the card so no more carrying loads of tickets in buckets or your pockets. We won 9 prizes in 3 days. Its always a ton of fun there. My wife loves the basketball game and I play the skeeball. We also both love the cranes. We will always be faithful patrons at Ed's Funcade. Trust me you will love it.
