There are places to rest on your way up though. It is beautiful and there's a nice gift shop nearby. If you aren't staying in LBI it's not a far drive. Be careful on the main road down there as the cops pull people over...More

It's a nice way to spend part of the day lots to see the baby and of course the old Barney Lighthouse and the shipping and fishing boats coming and going out to the Atlantic ocean

Sorry, I just saw your question, I would have to say I doubt it would be open as it is a state holiday. Though you can likely walk through the park.
