Fortunately the town of Durham has preserved this large area along the Bay for walkers, picnickers and in the snowy season, sledders. Good amount of parking and it is dog friendly. Great place to go on a hot summer night with your dog as you...More

Enjoyed a nice walk from the parking area just off Route 4 down to the water. You can bring your dog; dog waster collection bags are usually available there. Bring a picnic in the summer or your sled in the winter.

Wagon Hill Farm has a gently-sloped hill that starts at the wagon and goes toward Route 4. It’s a great place for younger children to enjoy sledding in the winter. We went after a big nor’easter dropped between 12” and 18” of snow on Seacoast...More

Worth a visit if you are in the area. Limited parking area, dogs allowed off leash only before 10am. Nice walk to the bay and lots of informative signage for additional information.

A nice quite place to walk next to the bay. Well maintained trails from the lot to the water, good for dogs. Also the local sledding hill in the area during the winter.

This is town property and its open to the public. Love to sit by the water summer evenings watching the sun set, crew boats going by. Winter, great fun place for children sledding down the hill from the "Wagon".

I love coming here with my dog. They allow dogs off leash. Nice views. You get a little bit of everything. Woods, flat grass, bay and beach. Good place for my pup to go for a dip. Open dusk to dawn

This is a great family location. I love taking my grandsons for a day of sledding. The hill is large enough to get to a fun speed for older kids but small enough that you can walk back to the top all day. A great...More
