Sunday July 12 we tried to visit but were told the parking was full. Today July 26th there was a sign saying Profile Falls was closed - maybe sometime I’ll be able to visit. I’m local but suggest you make a special trip because you may not get in

A short and easy 10 min hike from the parking lot gets you to these gorgeous waterfalls. Be careful when hiking down to the pool, as it's got a short drop to water level.

We took the short walk to the falls and spent a few hours. The water was very cold but there were people swimming. It's a beautiful spot.

Our group went here to cool off during a heat wave. The kids wanted something different from going to Newfound Lake every day. After a short walk thru the woods there is an area with a swimming hole and a waterfall. The water is A bit cool but oh so refreshing and clean. There is a bit of Rock climbing to get into the hole so I would recommend water shoes or sneakers. Our kids did cliff jump under the advisement of one of the experienced locals that was there but I wouldn’t recommend it as that area is not that deep and the safe zone to jump in to is not big.…
