We enjoyed seeing the Obelisk and reading about Comstock Lode and Virginia City. We did this while we waiting for our tour of Virginia City which departs from this area.

I like markers and this one is easy to find. Right across the street from the Delta Saloon! Don't forget to look at both plagues!

Easy forty minute drive from Reno. Good for history buffs and those like lots of saloons. Small museum and train ride. Worth an afternoon.
