Casino was fine . Forget about taking a hot shower. Same old same old story about water- let it run for ten minutes. NOT - Why doesn't the hot tub work either

We’ve been to Tahoe for 42 yrs where most of them we have stayed at Harrah’s because each room has 2 bathrooms which is great for 4 ladies. Over the years the rooms have been going downhill from the furniture to the bathrooms, paint around the big windows is peeling and chipping. This year we got our room on the 13th floor and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling dripping onto the top of toilet seat lid. Called front desk and were told to come down and change rooms. They then put us on 15th floor. In the morning I went to take a shower in the stand alone shower and the shower head and fixture was hanging down and would not stay up. The water was also cold. Let it run for 10 minutes and no difference so used the other shower. Was going to call maintenance and the phone was broke and didn’t work. Finally decided to deal with it and let them know later. When I went to do express check out online the bill was almost $100 more than when I booked online. Went down to desk and they said it was for the 2 cars for parking at $17 a day per car. I said there was nothing about parking charge anywhere while booking and with all the issues we’ve had with rooms I expected to be compensated. The girl at desk had zero customer service skills but finally removed the $26 daily resort fee so the bill ended up $2.00 less than the original cost.
For Harrahs being a so called luxury hotel it’s no where near it. The casino was nice but the table games minimum are way too high. I will probably be looking at other hotels first next year. Step it up Harrahs.

WHAT A CHANGE AND WHAT A SHOCK! For all the years we've gone to Lake Tahoe, we almost always stop at Harrah where valet parking has was free. My husband has a disability so walking distances is not easy, and their valet parking is very close to everything.

When we arrived, we didn't see the sign, and when we left, the person who was getting our car told us the price. Since we didn't know, he was kind enough not to charge us this time - and we gave him a nice tip.

If you're staying at the hotel the valet charge is $25.00, but you have to pay again every time you move your car, which can add up.

We won't be going back to Harrahs, but I wouldn't be surprised if the other casinos are also charging now. It's something to check out in advance.

Not much going on in the casino, the big casino, at the Lake while there were some big events going on outside. Should have stayed outside. Well I just walked around. it is big and modern and clean.

We played blackjack at a $10 table for awhile last night. We had a junior dealer who should never have been put on the table. She tried to take money when she shouldn't have and did not pay when she should have. It seemed that we as customers were training her. One of the dealers even called her a rookie and said they had to clean up after her when she went on break. She was improperly trained and this is a very poor reflection on Harrah's. There was another senior dealer that came in and ALL she talked about was tips and the fact that "they need to eat". Customers are there to have a good time. We tip when we want to, not because we are highly suggested to by the dealer. Very poor taste for a senior dealer. We have played here before and were not impressed by your dealing staff. Time to train and clean up the comments and make your location more customer friendly. It would also be great if you would have more $10 tables. It was obvious that everyone was waiting for a seat at the $10 table, while the higher stake tables had no one there.

Visited Lake Tahoe for first time in many years. More casino's for sure. On Friday around noon thought we would stop in at Hard Rock, Harrahs and Harveys. The Self Parking at at Harvey was non-existent. Driveways were a mess, didn't even want to go to the Casino so we went to Harrah's. Driveways were a mess, covered parking was no open and Valet Parking was around and $15! Went to Hard Rock. Casino Parking was difficult to locate. Charge for Valet.......able to get into a lot in back of hotel which was as bad a the others with pot holes etc. Did get a receipt allowing us ONE hour of Free parking. At one O'Clock walked into Casino from the back lot (about 1/4 mile. Three table games were open.....Casino basically empty. Left and got free parking. What a joke.

The casino staff is excellent. All the restaurants were good. The slots were real tight. Didn’t let you play much. The minimum bet on the tables was too high and did not have my games open except at night

Completely redo the rooms and casino. We felt as if the furniture in our room was purchased at a garage sale in 1980.

Nice casino with all the typical machines and games. This casino has a tunnel under the street to get to Harvey’s. Drinks were pricey, a coke and a draft beer were $8.00. Next time I’ll make sure I’m playing to get a free drink.
