Tired of The Strip? Head to friendly little Laughlin for lunch, then take the Christmas Tree Pass route back to Searchlight and on to Las Vegas. The road is dirt and gravel which is easily passable by two-wheel drive trucks and SUVs. Likely not advisable...More

We took a short road trip to here from Laughlin. Well worth it. Plenty of space to roam and explore. Great for all ages. Highly recommend it. Plan to spend an hour or two if you want to hike around and climb stuff. Amazing.

Slow going through this pass offers stunning views and decorated cactus and trees! Take your time and you’ll see a winter bloom or two.

This the the largest display of pictographs I’ve seen. Be prepared for a walk in loose sand to see them. Otherwise, a nice drive in the desert

I believe that after the holidays there are people who take off decorations and sometimes replace the decorations for the seasons. Otherwise, I am not aware of any particular group that changes the decorations.
