This is a Great Museum that Exceeded my Expectations
I will say I did not have high expectations when our group said this was on the schedule of our Las Vegas activities, but it was a great museum and experience. It starts with the history of Las Vegas and entrance of Mob in shaping the town and gambling industry. However, it also focused on the casino business, showing ways people cheat and the ways people win. Also interesting that the building that host the museum is the former courthouse in Clark County that hosted hearings on the Mob. I came in skeptical, but I left an advocate recommending a visit when you go to Las Vegas.

Interesting museum, great break from the heat
Really interesting museum about the history of the mob in the America, they're connection to Vegas and their history through the decades. Very well laid out and great exhibits with just the right level of details in the signs. Would be great for all ages 11 and up (may not be appropriate for younger kids)

Thought this would be cheesy but very interesting
Someone recommended and we went thinking what the heck. Found it to be fascinating and especially loved the interactive parts like the picture you could take getting booked and displays. Also liked that they included more modern day cartel and gangs. A fun time is to go to speakeasy.

    Definitely worth your time
This attraction has been on my list for a while. It was time to take it off the list. The Mob museum is in the former post office/court room for las vegas. The exhibits are well thought out and go in chronological order. Some of the highlights are the st valentines day massacre wall, AL capone and prohibition, kefavur hearing courtroom, early las vegas, and more modern times. Also some Mob inspired movies. I got the audio tour which is worth the extra $. Don't forget to get a drink at the underground bar.

    Great Museum
Excellent Museum for all interested in American history and culture. Lots of interactive exhibits, plenty of historic artifacts. Well organized and easy to follow exhibits. Allocate at least two hours just for the Museum, not counting distillery.

“This life of ours, this is a wonderful life.”
Cool museum if you are interested in the mob history, which I am. My husband got to hold a real Tommy Gun. My only complaint, which I have with lots of museums, is there were too many people at one time. Hard to see the exhibits sometimes. The Underground was a fun stop after the museum.

    Honest and informative
This museum did not leave anything out. It’s four stories and well organized based on time periods. It’s mostly pictures and some weapons. They did have a brick wall from the St. Valentine’s Day massacre. The distillery experience was a lesson in prohibition and a moonshine tasting which was great. They also have some TV and movie memorabilia. Overall, a great experience. You are not going to see this anywhere else so definitely worth the visit!

    It’s a Vegas must do
Las Vegas is not just about gambling so much more to do. The Mob museum was great , learning the mob’s history in Vegas & across America. Recommend doing one or more of the added experiences . I’m Irish so I did the drinking one. And also visit the speakeasy in the basement. Highly recommend the food and the cocktail’s

Incredible Learning Opportunity with Glitz and Glamour included
What an incredible learning experience. The staff is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their specific area with complete timelines. The amount of artifacts contained in this museum is simply astounding. The details that is presented with each artifact is unlike anything I have ever seen. I highly recommend including the audio as part of your tour. Allow a minimum of 3 plus hours to take advantage of what they have to offer I highly recommend visiting this museum.

    Interesting
I was lucky to visit during an open day. The downside was that it was very busy, but that was made up for with cheaper entry and access to some extra areas. Well worth a visit to get an overview of the impact mobsters had on the local history.

A wonderful experience for anyone who enjoys history, museums, or learning something new. There is a wealth of information here to explore, and if you’re lucky, they have actual former mobsters that tell real-life stories of their experiences. I’m sure there is a schedule of when that happens, but I just lucked into one.

Really loved this tour. We went after 5 pm and bought tickets on line. Saved $10. We spent 3 full hours and didn’t do extra tours as we wanted to make sure we covered all 3 floors.

Quite informative with a variety of video and printed displays. Covered a variety of mob things from early days to present day cartels.

Easy parking in their attached lot. Close to Fremont street.

Very interesting. Lots to see and read. Not as interesting for my teenager who I thought would enjoy it more. Maybe too much reading? Overall, excellent museum.

This place very fun & informative to visit. While we were there it was not busy at all compared to summer months. However I say that to emphasize my point. The hallways are narrow and everything here involves reading plaques on the wall. (Mixed with a few videos). Even being not busy it was an excruciatingly painfully slow pace. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and that was only general admission. That is NOT doing the extras
ie: evidence lab, speakeasy or weapons training.
It was very hard to read with 20 people around you only all sides. I cannot imagine when they are busy.
This place will clearly help you to understand the true origin of Las Vegas. Explaining it each step of the way throughout the years.

The museum doesn't have many artifacts and is mostly placards on the wall to read. And it was crowded. Some interesting stuff but I wouldn't recommend it.

A really well thought out and impressive display showing the history of organised crime. It dished the dirt on all those famous names we know from history. Great displays and film shows and the food at the speakeasy was very cheap by Las Vegas standards but very tasty and filling.
