I’d had this down as a highlight of my Las Vegas museums tour but was saddened to learn that ALL the “artifacts” are fakes. And not good fakes either. I understand that they couldn’t get a lot of the real artifacts but not even so much as a clay pot from the real collection. This is a blatant “how can we make as much money as we can with as little effort and cost as possible “ play. It’s ironic that it’s right next to the Titanic exhibit which is loaded with real artifacts.

Don’t wast your time or money.

It is so impressive outside by the giant pharaonic sculptures at the entrance of the Casino imitating the pyramid, Sphinx, and many other pharaonic iconic sculptures. On the other hand, it is luxurious and joyful from the inside.

It’s something that you need to experience. Timing and visuals are just impeccable, and to be immersed in it just adds that special something that you don’t get with other experiences.

If you have never experienced projection mapping, this show takes it over the top with the story and makes you feel you are part of the show.

This is truly the most novel and visually engaging experience I had with any event besides Cirque du Soleil while in Vegas.
Tickets for the cast show in the evening seemed too expensive for what it looked like you paid for and didn’t fit into our schedule. Taking the time in the day allowed us to explore at our own pace, with no set entry time and hardly any other people around.
Handheld interactive mirror animation sequences and a little quest to locate particular images throughout the multiple rooms give purpose to those who might get lost in a fantasy storyline. But getting lost is probably a good idea!! The rolling animations being broadcast on all surfaces bring to life sets of dark, weird and incredibly beautiful characters and monsters. Every wall is literally covered with things to see or read, from bits of thought-provoking wisdom, to riddles, to fragmented pieces describing the 2.5th dimensional reality Bering presented. There is a long hallway of captured animated sequences we could have spent 30-minutes just watching in awe! Add to that the fun of being able to add our own (very temporary) light graffiti, throwing wads of paper at walls to generate new characters and the uncertainty never knowing what the next room would hold and it added up to a mind-bending hour+ of time in another world.

Amazing! This is unlike anything I've ever seen and the story, acting and technology are a beautiful, incredible experience. I want to tell everyone about it so that it's a success, but I also want to keep it to myself lol. When you come in to the Luxor from the parking garage go up the escalator and it's immediately on your right, across from the food court.

Particle Ink may be the most imaginative and moving immersive theater experience operating anywhere in the world today. It is quite unlike anything you've seen before, and should be a 'must see' destination for any enthusiast of performing arts.

Furthermore, this and the new nearby 'PLAY Playground' have moved the needle in Luxor's hunt for an identity of its own. Luxor is now the place for groundbreaking / next-generation entertainment- who ever would have guessed?

The marketing of Particle Ink can be confusing, so here's a synopsis of what it is;

Daytime Experience: This is a family-friendly adventure in which guests are given tablets and sent on an Augmented Reality scavenger hunt throughout the richly-themed environments. There are no performers, only one operator. The experience is fine, but nothing compared to the nighttime event.

Nighttime Experience: This is the full-blown immersive theater show with performers. The audience follows the cast from room to room as the story unfolds through dance, multimedia, puppets and special effects. For Immersive Theater fans, the closest format comparison would be Third Rail's Grand Paradise, but this greatly surpasses that experience.

Particle Ink has potential to be a big hit, but the marketing needs to be fine-tuned. At this moment, the only thing it has going for it is word of mouth. I appreciate how many posters are located around the property and city, but they don't convey at all what it is. An exciting and slightly-specific tag line is needed at bare minimum- "A Groundbreaking Immersive Theater Experience" or "A Show Unlike Any Other"- something in that spirit.

Also, please consider opening up to younger guests. Despite the warning of 13+, my 6 year old attended, and it's now far and above her favorite show ever (and we had seen 3 Cirque du Soleil shows on the same trip...).

Thanks for the creators and performers for crafting such a unique and special experience. Here's hoping to a long and successful run.

I booked this without really knowing much about it, and, really didnt understand what we were getting into. Having thoroughly enjoyed it, Im still at a bit of a loss on how to describe it.

High tech meets storytelling meets acrobatics with an interactive flair maybe?

Small venue - and you will be moving through the space for different parts of it.

Audience participation is encouraged, as is photography - just no flashes.

Having seen a lot of the big shows on the strip, have to say this one was really good and worth the time/money to go.

Its not clear what to do, where to go when you first go in. If you cant figure it out, ask.

Investigate the hallway, look for the spray paint!

Say hi to the interstellar storyteller for us!

We loved our room #18059. Our room was newly remodeled and we overlooked the pool, mountains and sunsets. The customer service was fantastic. Everyone was pleasant and greeted us, and were so helpful and friendly. We absolutely love the pool and never had a hard time finding a lounge chair. The gym was great too. The Starbucks staff was always friendly too. The Johnny Rockets burgers were great. We will be back.
