beautiful and peaceful place. Views are Amazing. !! Loved visiting this place. Even though it was cold in May, it was still nice to walk around and enjoy taking good pictures.

Sand Harbor is my favorite Tahoe beach--lots of sand for sunbathing or kids who want to play on the shore, a wonderful little bay to play with water toys like kayaks and paddle boards, and crystal-clear turquoise water. It is a stunning, magical place to...More

If you are going here, plan on getting in before 11am in the summer, even during weekdays. The lot does get full with a fee of $10. Since the lot is controlled, the place doesn’t get too crowded. The water is so clear and the...More

My family along with a friends family came to this beach. The women and children went to the beach and our husbands parked the car. Our husbands were walking to join us and the rangers forbade them to join us. Told them they had to...More

It’s pretty much anywhere. It’s a Long Beach with very little shade. If you are going to set up camp, it’s best to get there really early (before 9am) with a big tent and stake your claim. The lot is closed once it gets full... More
