We came for a day drive out to tour around lake Las Vegas. Nice views and a few stops along the way. The area was nice but not many amenities and the people did not seem friendly.

New to the area and decided to see what's at the Lake. It was about 12 noon and wanted to eat at one of the fine restaurants that are advertised. Every time I entered a place that was open, I was told, "We are closed...More

Lake Las Vegas is a beautiful, but the building at 29 Montelago is currently surrounded by scaffolding & a black shroud for painting. This completely ruined the view of the lake from our balcony. I talked to a lady that lived there and she said...More

I am a local here and I visit Lake Las Vegas at least once a month. I love the shops and the activities surrounding this developed community. Now the lake is not a lake to swim in or to feed a gaggle of geese. However...More

Lake Las Vegas is a community - an intended community for possibly a wealthy socioeconomic demographic. What happened? What was planned as various boutique shops and entertainment is now vacant art galleries - but there are signs of life trying to resurrect itself. The buildings...More

Spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon with a friend, walking along the shoreline and having a lovely lunch. It’s sort of a ghost town with empty shops and very few people. It’s really not that far from the strip, but goes against that old adage, “If...More

I only saw paddle boats. I did not see anyone swimming, not sure that the lake was clean enough for swimming anyway.
